I thought I would not date him for 8 years

I thought when I gave him the Marriage ultimatum he would leave

I thought he must have changed

I thought moving farther from his mom would help us

I thought when we had kids it would get better

I thought about leaving him several times

I thought "There is no way I can afford to do it!"

I thought "What kind of family is this for my boys?"

I thought he would die when he was in the hospital

I thought "Who else could have these horrible thoughts?"

I thought I was alone....
